  1. My dad fought in the Vietnam war for 3 tours but didn't die there. He was from Boston and brought us often as kids to visit family. Instead of him being buried in Arlington when he was killed, we laid him to rest in Boston to be close to our grandmother and his roots.
    My dad would have really been proud of this memorial. He worked tirelessly to help his men transistion back to civilian life after re-entry into the US. He knew it was rough back in those days. Next time I visit I will make this one of my stops.
