Songwriter Paul Simon and Poet Paul Muldoon Discuss Lyrics as Literature at JFK Forum on Feburary 11 in Boston
The Kennedy Library Forum in Boston, Massachusetts is presenting "Lyrics as Literature," a discussion about the art of writing lyrics as a form of literature. The forum features songwriter Paul Simon, Irish poet Paul Muldoon, and writer Bill Flanagan. PEN New England is co-sponsor of the event.
The event takes place on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum, located at Columbia Point in Boston.
Simon is known worldwide for his work with Simon & Garfunkel and with his successful work as a solo artist over the last 40 years. Muldoon, from Northern Ireland, won the Pulitzer Prize for poetry in 2003.
Prior to the forum, the Cafe is offering a special wine and cheese experience for purchase, at the Museum pavilion from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
