The Dropkick Murphys, Boston's own punk-rock Irish band, opens a three-day stand at the House of Blues in Boston,, starting on Wednesday, March 16 through Friday, March 18, 2011.
Tickets are $32.50 to $52.50 and can be ordered online.
They'll be playing tunes from their new album, Going Out in Style, as well as classics like I'm Shipping up to Boston, the song that appeared in the film, The Departed, and When Johnny Comes Marching Home, the anthem written during the American Civil War in 1863 by Boston musician Patrick S. Gilmore.
